Having the right focused keyword (or keywords) will drastically accelerate your page to top placement, these focused buzz words connect what people search for online and the content related to your post. You can also get more organic traffic by using long tail keywords, or multiple keywords & phrases in the title and body of your post.

Keyword Strategy.

Sites like moz and kwfinder are great free resource tools that compares your searchable keyword against hundreds of thousands of used keywords online. Ranking well in search engines now requires your content to answer the very intent of your visitors, the keywords used in your content should be genuine and void of deception. Nevertheless, applying highly used keywords increases your web content's overall results on every online search engine.

Using H1 Title in your text

In my quest for searching for factors that really influence the optimization of my blog post, I discovered that having a title with the H1 heading will also help your SEO. The title should also contain the major keyword of the content.

Post SEO Meta Description

The meta description is a tag in HTML that summarizes a page content, this is a brief description of a content shown in the search result whenever a reader searches for related keywords. A good meta description gives a lot of detail concerning that post and it is the first impression given to viewers.

Ensure your meta Description mentions your focus keyword for search purposes. Meta description has a maximum of 155 characters, hence you need to make the content very juicy and great, any character above 155 will be truncated.

Make sure your blog is mobile-friendly.

Amazingly statistics shows that people use a search engine from their mobile phones than from their computer. Google displays the mobile-friendly result to these viewers first, which still proves the fact that google favors mobile-friendly website more.

Having a mobile-friendly website is great for SEO, because instead of having two URL, one for desktop and one for mobile, this time you have only one, hence ensuring that any inbound links that come back to your site won’t have to be divided into separate URL, therefore majoring the SEO power you gain from these links and hence helping Google to quickly find your post's value and rank it.

 Optimize your images' alt text.

An example of a good blog post is a post with images. people easily go through images more than they read through the text, these images should be of high quality and very fascinating. When loading these images to your blog, you should add your keyword to the alt text because the search engine can’t read images the way humans do, instead, the image alt text explains to the engine what the image is all about. This action also benefits users when the image refuses to load due to errors, this alt text tells the viewer what the image contains. In many cases, the alt text box appears in various location based on the platform. I recommend placing the text in the title and body of the description as a precaution.

This may sound paradoxical, but the connection and impact of consistent blogging is substantial. The more you blog, the more opportunities you have to be found online, in fact, companies that blog average 434% more indexed pages than those that don't. The high number of pages creates reason for web crawlers to search through them. These crawlers rank the sites on factors like inbound links, user time on site, and mobile friendliness.
